Davis County Library's Newest Jewel...

The New Davis County Library Headquarters Building

It's finished...after years of planning and (probably...) millions of investment, the walls are up, the shelves are stacked, the goods are in and the customers are checking things out. Davis County's newest library is open for business!

Libraries are amazing. With a small plastic card and patience, you can read, watch, and listen to pretty much anything. Since I discovered how to download audiobooks a few weeks back, I've taken advantage of several books.

Since 1970, when we moved to Farmington, many things have changed. Schools, grocery stores, dental offices and gas stations have either come and gone, or been basically re-built on the original locations. But the library stayed the same.

Until now!

So, if you're in the area of the Davis County Courthouse (the original one...), just go half a block south and you'll see the wonderful, beautiful library, where many many things are new...

But where some things stay the same.

Well done, Davis County Library people...well done.
