A co-worker told me of a science fair occurring after work today. I had the opportunity to drive by with two of my kids and we thought we'd stop by. We saw some fossils, some seashells, and the kids found rocks in sand. Good times.
I've wanted to stop by this house for a while and snap a few pictures of this beautiful tulip patch. It's not the largest tulip patch, but maybe it's the most humble, or if it were a pumpkin patch, Linus would be smack-dab in the middle of it. I wanted to get closer, but that probably wasn't appropriate. I didn't have permission to do so. The owner of this patch is one of my heros--good man from a good family. We still don't know why the deer don't eat his tulips. I guess they're too full from eating ours...
Science and nature, both given by God. What an incredible day to see some beautiful things...
You're a cool dad.
