The Genius Of Kid History...

KID HISTORY

I don't know how we found it--most likely from a Facebook post--but the day we found the "Kid History" videos on YouTube and showed them to our kids, the definition of entertainment in our house changed forever.

So far, the Roberts crew (and friends...) have put together 9 episodes and it looks like they can keep going forever. The set up is brilliantly simple, they film children as they tell stories then have adult actors lipsync the children's voices.

Tonight my kids wanted to have a "Kids History" marathon so that's what we did. There's so many quotable lines and depending on the crowd you're with, just say one line from any of the episodes and everyone will join in. You can check out their website HERE. You can even buy t-shirts and coffee mugs sporting the Kid History stars and take the fun with you wherever you go.

For most of you, I'm probably telling you something you already know. But for everyone else, please check it out and you can experience the genius of "Kid History" for yourself. You won't be sorry you did...

  1. ... we LOVE KidHistory. We just discovered it this last Christmas (as we were talking about doing the nativity and my brother suddenly said "Dave's always the donKEY" ... and introduced us to Kid History. My boys spew quotations ALL the time. Have you checked out the new "Kid Snippets" yet? The first just came out on Saturday and we haven't gotten around to watching it yet ...

    1. We told the kids of your family story--they laughed at the quote! And, yes, we have seen the new Snippet. Since we were doing a marathon last night, we had to watch them all!
