My children--all four of them--have done Shakespeare plays. Tonight the three older ones performed their "series of Shakespeare shorts and other improved skits" for the first time in front of an audience. It was a lot of fun and the kids did a fantastic job, all of them.
When I see kids aged 12 to 18 do Shakespeare, it never ceases to amaze me. Not only do they memorize the lines, but they understand what the lines mean. To me, that's the most impressive.
They have two performances tomorrow and then they preform in front of other homeschool groups at a mountain retreat. Those kids are going to love it.
And we did, too.
