When I first began blogging, I loved, LOVED getting comments about things on which I wrote. I mean, who doesn't like to know that others have read what your have written, so much so, they felt they had to say something.
It's quite a compliment, really.
But then, it became apparent that this little blog thing that I began back in January of 2011 (I can't believe it's been that long...) wasn't going to be some fly-by-night thing, because I kept writing and writing every day.
As time when on, I saw my comment count go down and I was okay with that. I think people got a little bored with all my posts. But, like I said, I'm okay with that because--and I've mentioned this before--part of the reason I write a blog post every day is for me.
Which leads me to the comments that I've gotten recently. Many wonderful people have written some very nice things on my blogs.
And I haven't responded.
It's not that I don't want to--I do. But I get the notifications of the comments via e-mail and I can't e-mail them back. They're none-response e-mails. And I fell weird responding on the blog because they don't get e-mails back notifying them that I've responded to their comments.
Or do they? The reason I think this is because I've commented on other people's blogs and I don't get e-mails when the author responds to my comment.
So, if you're reading this and you've commented on my blog recently, THANK YOU! I really appreciate it, even if I don't put it into words. I'll try to do better in the future, I promise!
You also have verification on so that might put a lot of people off when they have prove they are not a robot! I read all your posts even if I don't always comment.
