Christmas Lites III...A Holiday Anthology

Christmas Lites III*

A few weeks back an author who has a short story in a book in which my short story appears asked if anyone out there would like to review a new project in which she's involved.

I said, sure.

The book is called Christmas Lites III and it's what you think it would be, and more.

For the sake of full disclosure, I have not read all the stories in this book, mostly because there are so many of them. But by just reading the first few stories, you'll realize not all of them deal with cute elves and mistletoe. There's some dark stories as well. The stories I did complete were well written, full of interesting characters and the perfect short story length.

Perhaps the best thing about the book is that all proceeds benefit the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence, and it's their third anthology. You can go to the charity's website: HERE.

The author who asked for help is A.F. Stewart and her story in the anthology is Once Upon A Christmas Eve. It's a delightful story complete with everything you'd imagine a Christmas to be--a city celebrating the season, holiday preparations, mistletoe, a budding romance. Oh, and yes, it has something in a Christmas story I've never experienced before. Think Charles Dickens Meets Stephen King (I hope I'm not giving too much away...). Great little story!

Even though I have not completed the anthology, I wanted to blog about it so that if you're looking for that gift for that reader in your life, consider this. It will satisfy that gift requirement and help out a good cause. It's a win-win-win situation! You can order the book on Amazon at this link: HERE.

Merry Christmas, you'all!
