An Invitation From The Super Excited Citizens of New York City

Come to New York City, The Most Exciting City In The WORLD! Leave your troubles behind and join us for fun and the time of your life! You will definitely HEART NY when you cross the Hudson River and enter a place like no other!

It WILL be up to you in New York, New York! Bring the kids for a family vacation, or leave them behind for a romantic vacation for two! Bring a tuxedo, or your denim jeans--we don't care! Just come and enjoy the city that absolutely NEVER sleeps!

And that flea catastrophe you may have heard about? It's OVER! Guaranteed! If you find even one flea in your room, cab, or restaurant, we'll compensate for any damages. There's nothing rotten in this Big Apple, no sir!

So don't be a walker! Don't be a crawler! Don't be a creeper! Run! Run to New York. Because, who knows? You may just get caught between the moon and New York City yourself! Come on over! We're waiting for you!

Brought to you by the Super Excited Citizens of New York City. Any association with an official government or non-profit institution connected with New York City, New York State, New York City, or any of the surrounding boroughs  is purely accidental and unintended.

  1. Both you and Randy seem to have known what you were doing when you started. I was not gifted any inspiration, and was forced to write until I scotched taped something together. Envious...
This is a clever angle ... so sublime in its simple and genius conception. 226 words, huh..? Your idea is brilliant. Flea Catastrophe! That's awesome. No wonder they never sleep.
    Good piece, Hygge.

    1. Thanks Chris! And I must say I love the stuff you write--it's very good. The angle, well, I write a post every week so sometimes I like to think of something new. Thanks for the comments!

    1. Thanks Leanne! It was a blast to write! I've only been to NYC once (missed my layover and had to stay the night...). The city was not like this experience in this post at all ;). Thanks again for the kind words!
