Why We Do The Vertical Challenge...

I have been charged with maintaining an additional blog, a blog for Bob's Vertical Challenge. Last year for a month I wrote an entry every day before the 5th Annual Vertical Challenge was held last February. Now I'm updating the Vertical Challenge blog once a week, or whenever circumstances dictate a new entry. Today I wrote this:

From the very beginning the goal of Bob’s Vertical Challenge is to provide a means to improve boy’s lives. All proceeds from Bob’s Vertical Challenge to directly to the Scoutreach program of the Trapper Trails Council of the Boy Scouts of America. Scoutreach is the charity arm for the scouts and in the five years that the Vertical Challenge has been in existence, tens of thousands of dollars have been donated by sponsors and participants of the event, all in an effort to help these wonderful boys.

We all know that a scout is many things…trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, etc. But many scouts are also in need, in need of resources that Bob’s Vertical Challenge helps provide. Many scouts are just waiting for those opportunities that can only happen in their youth, life-changing experiences that Scoutreach, and the Vertical Challenge can offer. Please consider spending time with us on Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at Snowbasin. Your support will change the life of a young man. Please contact Andrea at aabbott@knoxcap.com, or call 801.447.4200 for more information and details. You won’t regret it.

It really is a great event for a wonderful cause. So, if you'd like to know more, go: HERE for more details.
