Last night the sun began setting and the clouds lined up in such a way that signaled a potentially beautiful sunset. At least, that's what I thought. I turned out to be right.
I had the rare opportunity of being home around 9pm and was lucky enough to have my camera ready to go.
The celestial light show just kept going and going and going. I was blown away by a huge cloud left of where the sun set over the mountains.
The color in the cloud itself deepened as the sun disappeared. I was drawn to it and because of that, I kept trying to get it in the shot.
I missed tonight's sunset. I doubt it compared.
WOW!!! I never have my camera available when there's a good sunset. :(
