An Astronaut...But No Waldo...

Twice a year, we do not go to church, but watch it on TV. Today was one of those days. There are two broadcasts, each broadcast lasts for two hours. And since we don't go shopping or go to movies on Sundays, we stayed home.

I admit that, sometimes--though it is rare-- ( ;) ) I have been known to, shall we say...nod off during the broadcasts. To avoid this today I broke into the Eric Dowdle puzzle we bought a few weeks back. The puzzle's subject? The University of Utah football program.

If you're familiar with Eric Dowdle's puzzles, it's kind of like a "Where's Waldo" experience. There's just so much to see. I did spot a few things and snapped a couple of pictures (sorry for the dark ones...).

There's the obvious sights, the "U" on the hill...

the U of U 34, BYU 31 score,

both BCS game scores from the Utes undefeated seasons, and the MUSS is respectfully represented.

And then there are things that are not quite so obvious. Scattered throughout the stadium are a few BYU fans (makes sense since it's a U-Y game...). I did spot a couple of Utah State University Aggie fans.

There's an astronaut and I saw two LDS missionaries cheering the Utes on.

And, of course, no Utah game would be complete without the fans making the "U" with their thumbs and index fingers.

It took me an hour or two after the last broadcast had ended to complete the puzzle. Maybe this will become a new family tradition. I guess we'll see...
