So...How Do You See Things?

Spend anytime on Facebook or other social media sites (think Pinterest...) and you may feel a bit inadequate.

Or poor,

Or unattractive,

Or unwanted.

Of course, the list could go on practically forever.

But today I saw a little post from a blog I'd never heard of. Glennon Doyle Melton's Momastery. You can access her site: HERE. Since I've never read her blog, I have no idea if this particular post is representative of what she blogs about. But seeing how she's a New York Times Bestselling author, it probably is.

I won't go into everything she says in her post--you should read it yourself, but I will say the post talks about kitchens. However, it's about so much more than how this woman thinks about her kitchen. I love how she explains her realization of just how blessed she is, and it didn't take the absence of these things for her to reach this conclusion.

If only more of us could use this perspective and realize how much we actually have, even when we think we don't. Good post!

  1. Thanks for this post! It is so true ... it's so easy to get caught up in the world of what we don't have, and forget to focus on everything we do have. Thanks for sharing:)
